On Wednesday 29 July, 2026 from 12.40 to 1.20pm, the Wesley Music Centre Lunchtime Concert series is honoured to host, once again, a fabulous concert featuring members of
The Band of the Royal Military College’s woodwind section.
The programme will showcase the refined craftsmanship of Australian Army woodwind musicians, who will be performing a selection of works by French composers Bozza, Françaix, Poulenc and Saint-Saëns.
The concert will include the saxophone and clarinet quartets, a solo oboe performance, and the woodwind quintet. Members of the woodwind group are exceptionally versatile musicians, equally at home on the ceremonial parade ground supporting Australian troops and welcoming domestic and international dignitaries or taking centre stage on Australia’s finest concert halls. Through their performances, they build rapport and enhance the Australian Defence Force’s connection with the community.
