The Wesley Music Centre Lunchtime Concert series will premiere the RMC Band’s Music from the Screen. The group will perform a variety of different songs from the movies and television. Each song has been chosen to feature a different member of the ensemble and spans the last 100 years of the screen, featuring a variety of music from Cinderella to Gladiator.
is a 40-piece professional symphonic wind ensemble which provides ceremonial support for Vice-Regal and government activities, as well as the Australian Defence Force and the wider ACT community. The Band has been a regular fixture on the local music scene for well over 60 years, entertaining Canberrans and raising money for local charities through series such as at the Canberra Theatre, and its biannual concert spectaculars at Llewellyn Hall.
