On Wednesday 23rd September from 12.40 to 1.20pm, the Wesley Music Centre Lunchtime Concert series is privileged to present the outstanding Band of the Royal Military College in an eclectic concert of music ranging from Mozart and Beethoven to an Irish folk tune on a variety of wind instruments.

About the event
The Band of the Royal Military College is a 40-piece professional symphonic wind ensemble which provides ceremonial support for Vice-Regal and government activities, as well as the Australian Defence Force and the wider ACT community. The Band has been a regular fixture on the local music scene for well over 60 years, entertaining Canberrans and raising money for local charities through series such as Music at Midday at the Canberra Theatre. The Officer Commanding and Music Director of the RMC Band is Major Doug Hall.
