Wednesday Lunchtime Concert: Shadows and Soul

On Wednesday 26^th August 2026 the Wesley Lunchtime Concert series presents talented young AMUSA students, Amber Ye, Kaylem Kua and Rosy Zhu, from the piano studio of Elena Nikulina performing a program which bridges Baroque masterworks by Bach and Handel with rare gems of Romantic era by Brahms, Chaminade and Balakurev/ Glinka. 

Amber Ye, 15 years old, is currently a student at Brindabella Christian College. She has explored a wide range of instruments including the piano, trumpet and violin. She began playing the piano at the age of 7 and is preparing for her upcoming AMusA piano exam in September. She enjoys performing music from the Baroque and Romantic periods. Kaylem Kua is a 15 year old student currently attending Telopea Park High school in year 10. Since the age of 7, he has been studying piano under Elena Nikulina. Kaylem has won numerous awards in piano competitions run by Australian National Eisteddfod and the ACT Keyboard Association. Rosy Zhu is a Year 10 student at Telopea Park School.
