The Wesley Lunchtime concert series welcomes back the much-loved pianist Robert Schmidli performing a program of great works by Bach (Toccata in D major BWV 912), Beethoven (Sonata no 4 in E flat Op 7 - "Grand Sonata") and Chopin (Scherzo in B minor no 1 Op 20).

About the event
Robert Schmidli is one of Canberra’s best loved and most talented performers. He began piano studies in New Zealand and later continued in Melbourne. He has performed on local and national radio in New Zealand and Australia, played with a number of orchestras, and worked with international artists including David Pereira, Jack Glatzer and George Zukerman. His solo recitals have been in New Zealand, Victoria, West Australia, country NSW and South Australia. Aside from playing the piano, Robert moonlights as a medical specialist in endocrinology with clinics in Canberra and rural NSW. His photos appear regularly in the local weather segment of ABC News at 7pm.
