On Wednesday 2nd September 2026 the Wesley Lunchtime Concert series warmly welcomes the return of Ben Hoadley (bassoon) and Ariana Odermatt (harpsichord) in an eclectic program of music that spans the Baroque to Sally Whitwell.

About the event

Ben Hoadley is principal bassoonist of the Canberra Symphony Orchestra, and teaches at the Melbourne Conservatorium of Music, the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School and Australian National Academy of Music. Ben is a regular guest principal bassoonist with groups including the Sydney SymphonyOrchestra, Opera Australia, Australian Chamber Orchestra, AustralianBrandenburg Orchestra, Adelaide Symphony, Auckland Philharmoniaand Malaysian Philharmonic. Ariana Odermatt holds a Master of Philosophy from the ANU School of Music and BA Honours in Performance Music (Harpsichord) from the University of Waikato. Her achievements overseas include performing at the 2011 Venice Biennale, at Handel's House in London and with NZ Barok.
