On Wednesday 20th August 2025 from 12.40 to 1.20pm, the Wesley Music Centre Lunchtime Concert series is delighted to welcome, once again, talented young musicians from Canberra Girls Grammar School. Performing music by Mozart, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Handel, Leavitt, McCartney and Bayer-Sager.

From Beethoven to the Beatles
On Wednesday 20th August 2025 from 12.40 to 1.20pm, the Wesley Music Centre Lunchtime Concert series is delighted to welcome, once again, talented young musicians from Canberra Girls Grammar School, who will perform music by Mozart, Beethoven, Shostakovich, Handel, Leavitt, McCartney and Bayer-Sager.
Seven delightful ensembles will share music spanning the ages, from Beethoven to the Beatles: the Brass Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Beethoven Trio, Wind Quintet, Gabriel Singers, Kain Guitar Ensemble and Shostakovich Trio. The musicians in these groups vary in AMEB levels from Grade 5 to AMusA. Many had exams just before the mid-year break and enjoyed great success.
Music education at Canberra Girls Grammar School creates pathways for students to excel through music.
