About the event

The Wesley Music Centre Lunchtime concert series is delighted to introduce Clarification, an exciting new ensemble of seven clarinet players plus a double bass!

The group came about after members of the Canberra City Band decided to work together outside of band rehearsals to perform new and stimulating music.

In this debut concert, Clarification will perform Suite Caribeana by Ailem Carvajal-Gómez (featuring Giles Lamb on Eb clarinet), Concertino Op. 26 by Carl Maria von Weber (arranged by Matt Johnston and featuring Helena Maher on Bb clarinet), The Sorcerer's Apprentice by Paul Dukas (arranged by Matt Johnston) and Classic Cartoon Symphony (arranged by Lisa L Ochoco).
