THE SCENE... To celebrate, Lady Elizabeth Kitson of Hengrave Hall is planning a musical Soirée. The ladies of the Kitson family and household have been rehearsing the new works intently, as well as some Old Favourites from Mr Wilbye’s first collection of 1598. The performance will also showcase instruments from the Kitson collection: Viols, Recorders, Virginals and a brand new French Harpsichord, to be played by Mr Wilbye’s protégée, Miss Ariana Odermatt.
THE INVITATION… Lady Kitson and the assembled band of lady singers, POLIFEMY, under the direction of their esteemed Leader Robyn Mellor, invite you to join them for an afternoon HOUSE CONCERT to celebrate the Compositions of the talented MR WILBYE.
