A MESMERISING EVENING OF SITAR RECITAL FOLLOWED BY GHAZALS Featuring: PANDIT HARVINDER SHARMA A disciple of Ustad Vilayat Hussain Khan of Imdadkhani Gharana, Harvinder was initially groomed by his father Sh. Meghraj Sharma and thereafter was trained under illustrious guides, late Prof. Jitender Kumar and Dr. R.D. Verma, holds master degree in Hindustani classical music (Sitar) from Panjab, Harvinder has distinct style of elaborating Raga through Khayal ang on sitar, which is the true essence of Imdadkhani Gharana, he is also open to innovative ideas such as fusion or Jugalbandi of classical and popular music. Also Featuring: Aman Pal UK born and raised now Sydney based, he started learning the art of classical Tabla at the age of 6 from the Legendary Maestro Ustad Abdul Sattar Tari Khan, he is a world renowned Tabla player who also sings soulful Sufi music and Ghazals. Aman’s has subtle command in ragas, the melodic structures and their rhythmic disciplines.
