Award-winning local pianist Jacob Wu presents the first public recital in years with an expansive program, including transcriptions of Bach's Chaconne for Solo Violin, and Isoldens Liebestod, the last scene from Wagner's opera Tristan und Isolde.

The centrepiece though, is Liszt's Piano Sonata in B Minor. One of the most monumental works ever written and grand in its scope, it encompasses virtually everything that is possible on a modern piano.
